Designed in order to pay tribute to aerospace technology, Apollo Watches are retro-chic pieces that can be worn by both women and men alike. They offer a unique design that can just as easily be worn out into the professional world as they can be worn out and about at night or during the day.
The movement of the Apollo Watches is attached to a support, which gives the case a much thinner effect. The movement is a reliable Miyota 8219 that is able to keep the time with the utmost precision. The curved casing as well as the back of the watch is crafted out of a robust and durable material called Hesalite crystal. The team used this material in order to make sure that the watch is heavy duty and able to remain free of smudges. Furthermore, these crystals has been given a dome shape in order to extend all of the way to the edge of the watch’s face. This helps to magnify the elements of the dial for easier legibility. The dials feature unique subdials for hours, minutes and seconds for an intricate appeal.
Currently, Apollo Watches are being crowdfunded on the crowdsourcing website, Kickstarter. They have a goal of hitting $25,000 in order to bring their dreams of creating their Apollo Watches to life. If you want to be a part of their Kickstarter campaign and wish to own one of these Apollo Watches, you can make a pledge and order one on their Kickstarter site.
