Having spent much of their time creating watches for other brands, BADGER has finally taken the plunge into creating their own timepieces. Spending all their time creating original watches stressed to them the importance of having a truly inventive line of watches in an industry that is so saturated with overproduced and recycled watch styles. With the new BADGER watch line, their idea of individuality is able to shine through using unique case styles and dials.
The BADGER watches feature unique geometric shapes called the tonneau that instantly make them stand out. The actual time-telling dial of the watch does not stretch across the entire dial, helping to further separate them from the standard watch styles. The hands of the dial are easy to read in any light, thanks to the Swiss superluminova lume hands. The dial sits under the custom-built sapphire crystal glass that prevents any nicks or scratches from befalling the face of the watch. On the dial space that remains, there is a three-strut polycarbonate buffer that helps to buffer the vibrations to help keep the watch running at its best. The case itself is crafted out of ultra-strong 316L stainless steel that is resistant to rust and corrosion. It is also resistant to water with its 5ATM water-resistant rating.
Currently, BADGER watches are being crowdfunded on the crowdsourcing website, Kickstarter. At the time of writing, BADGER watches has reached $11,729 pledged of their $25,585 goal with 15 days remaining in their campaign.
