Often to those who don’t have a passion for it, timekeeping is more of a passive thing. It is a few seconds out of every day that one looks down at their watch to take a glance at the time and then move about their day. For those who are enthusiastic about timekeeping and all of its intricacies, Lilienthal Berlin has created the Zeitgeist watch.
This line of watches shows that timekeeping is about so much more than knowing when the hour strikes. It is for this reason that Lilienthal Berlin have created such alluring timepieces that not only display the time in an elegant manner on its dial but also give watch enthusiasts the chance to watch time tick away with the glass bottom that displays its inner workings.
The strong glass bottom is screwed onto the bottom of the strong 316L surgical grade steel case that plays host to either a silver or charcoal black dial with galvanized hands designed to be read in any light setting, thanks to the Superluminova coating. Protecting the dial is a sapphire glass known for its ability to resist against nicks and scratches. Inside, a Swiss automatic calibre SW200 Sellita movement with a decorated rotor keeps the time accurately. It is resistant to water with its 5ATM rating.
The Lilienthal Berlin Zeitgeist Automatik is currently available for preorder with only 500 pieces in its initial batch. The price ranges between 499 EUR and 549 EUR depending on the color you choose.
